The Tinkers Academy by Gadgetometers (TAG) is rolling out soon with exciting kits, challenges, and adventures. Young inventors under 18 and tinkerers of all ages can join the steampunk journey. Stay tuned for workshops, special events, and the Steampunk Expedition.

TAG builds on the Gadgetometers’ Young Inventor’s Certificates, a program that celebrated young Steampunk creators.
Now a formal academy, TAG empowers inventors under 18 to explore steampunk craftsmanship. They use hands-on kits like the Tinkers Academy Decoder and Steampunk Flyer Model. These projects are part of builder challenges that spark creativity and can be offered through workshops and challenges at steampunk and other events.
As they explore building kits, these young inventors are creating a foundation that will allow them to develop their own style and create their own projects and costume accessories.
Sharing their work is an important aspect of our community and allows others to get inspiration from how different inventors have approached their projects.
As young inventors create, explore and engage in the Tinkers Academy, they can earn awards and ranks for their activities.
